His career has seen him lead and implement mission-critical programs across the U.S. Navy and various industries, making significant contributions to high-profile organizations like Boeing, Amazon Web Services, and multiple tech startups.

Mark most recently served as Head of Solutions for a venture capital backed Fraud & Risk technology startup, leveraging his deep knowledge of cloud technology and software engineering to deliver innovative solutions to clients. He successfully implemented secure systems across multiple cloud environments, delivering solutions that enhance business agility and ensure continuity during crises. Mark’s expertise with AWS cloud services, Kubernetes orchestration, and agile methodologies allows him to create robust, scalable architectures that withstand the most demanding operational challenges.

Previously, Mark held leadership roles at several startups, including founding Weav Technologies, where he managed product roadmaps and led engineering teams through complex software developments. During his tenure as Program Manager at Buckle he streamlined insurance claims processing through advanced data platforms, significantly enhancing operational efficiency.

Mark’s foundational experience comes from his service in the U.S. Navy, where he played key roles in crisis management and continuity operations in the Pentagon-based Navy Operations Center and served as Executive Officer at various commands. His designation as Essential Military Personnel for Continuity of Government and Operations further underscores his ability to lead under pressure, making pivotal decisions during high-stakes situations such as global crises and military operations. He continues to serve in the US Navy Reserve as a Surface Warfare Officer specializing in Maritime Operation Center (MOC) operations and Expeditionary Warfare at the Operational Level of War.

A United States Naval Academy graduate with a Bachelor’s in Oceanography, Mark also holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
